I don’t do surface level coaching

I don't do surface level coaching. And Elite athletes don't need that.

Tools, tricks, plans. Not for me or them.

Well, that is a little lie actually.

Initially I may well ask you to formulate some better habits. processes, routines, and cues.

I will more than likely ask you to do some journaling if you don't.

This gets the ball rolling and sets us up knowing that you have some better systems in place.

But then we go deep. And play a transformation game.

My primary goal as your coach is super simple - to develop your self awareness.

That's it.

Discover parts of you which are hidden or at least dormant.

Here is an example (real life).

Tennis player - lets call him Bob.

Top 300 in the world, so yeah he can play, and he's only just started his professional tour, fresh out of college. Bags of potential.

Bob needed some better habits and systems which we have built.

But what Bob really needs is the following

1. Create his identity as a tennis player

2. Understand how is way of being in life is being reflected on court.

3. Push himself to show up with more leadership and assertiveness with his friends, family, coach, girlfriend.

4. Realise that being calm, the nice guy, outwardly unemotional and passive is not likely to progress his tennis career if he doesn't own the duality of these character traits and realise that he has to be the opposite at times.

5. Learn how to lose well.

I could give Bob all the breathing techniques, NLP cues, tactical cues, mantras, affirmations in the world.

Bob will likely improve, a bit.

But what Bob needs is some inquisitive questions which push him to see sides of himself and display those sides.

That's what I do.

It isn't always pretty and can be uncomfortable. But guess what, Elite sport is uncomfortable at times.

I will help you transform you life outside the court and I am pretty darn sure your performance on it will be transformed
